Twin Wild’s ‘Suburban Dreams’

Twin Wild recently released new track ‘Suburban Dreams’ on June 9th, through Play It Again Sam. It’s taken from their EP Control, which was simultaneously released and features previous single and EP eponymous track ‘Control’, alongside an as yet unheard track ‘Aqua’. Produced by Adam Noble ( of Nothing But Thieves, Placebo and Deaf Havana fame), ‘Suburban Dreams’ is bombastic, going straight for the jugular from the outset and featuring a crushing, killer chorus that could sweep anyone off their feet.

Speaking about the inspiration for the track, Twin Wild divulge; “Suburban Dreams is really about realising that life isn’t always a fairytale and sometimes things don’t work out as planned. Shit happens, but you pick yourself up, move on and get over it. I think this song is a playful nod to that”.

Lead single ‘Control’ which drew comparisons to a hybrid of Royal Blood, Biffy Clyro and Bastille by BBC Music Live, has already picked up support from the likes of BBC Introducing as well as blogs like us (Check out our review of ‘Control’ here) and is the follow up to their debut EP ‘My Heart’ which has clocked up over 1.5 million plays on Spotify and counting. Twin Wild has amassed over 3 million streams collectively online.
