The Night Cafe with ‘Felicity’

Following their debut EP Get Away From The Feeling in March, The Night Cafe have been kind enough to grace our ears with a new track, taken from their second EP which is due for release on 6th October. The news comes following a knock-out round of inner city festival dates (including Hit the North, see our review here) and a headline UK tour.

Get Away From The Feeling showed all the promise that ‘Felicity’ has lived up to. There was a bounce and spark of excitement to the way they sounded in ‘Mixed Signals’ while ‘The Way of Mary’ was an instant hit so naturally ‘Felicity’ follows on where these left off. The track is more rounded and mellow with the same spark their older songs had.

Following the lead of other Liverpudlian bands such as Circa Waves and The Wombats, The Night Cafe have stormed the indie scene in the past twelve months. They’ve gained support slots with the likes of The Wombats and Sundara Karma as well as having their own headline tour.

Not to mention, The Night Café will also be heading off on tour with the lovely Blaenavon across the UK in November! It kicks off in Sheffield at the Leadmill on 20th November before heading off to Leeds, Manchester, London, Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham, Birmingham and Bristol.
