Gig Preview: Glass Peaks, Sleeptape and Motherland

Got no plans for Thursday night? Perfect. Got plans for Thursday night? Sack them off, you’ve got new ones. Glass Peaks, Sleeptape AND Motherland are all on one lineup. You’d be daft to miss it.

Glass Peaks are a four piece hailing from Kent, self described as melancholy alt-pop. It’s sure to be a treat to have them up as far north as Newcastle for a gig.

Local favourites Sleeptape are an unmissable part of this lineup. One thing that can always be said for Sleeptape is that they know how to put on one hell of a show. 100% worth ducking out of work early to make sure you’re there in time to catch them.

Motherland are another band worth risking the wrath of your boss for. If Head of Steam won’t already be hot enough on a mid-June evening then it will be by the time you’ve been bouncing about to their thrashing indie rock sound.

Grab a ticket right here, it’s £6, you can’t go wrong for that price.
